The Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon:

This weekend was spent up at the amazing Grand Canyon, here is a little picture party from the trip.

The way up was long and crowdy with the dogs in the back seat, but Monster and I were snuggling, Smith was enjoying life and the whole world was blooming. After arrival we set up camp outside the park and fell asleep to the sound of forest and owls.
The following morning we went up to the view point and what an experience! The enormous canyon never seemed to end and was whispering about wild life and mystique. We stood speachless, climbed down the cliffs and tried to take in the majestic atmosphere.
During the afternoon we took a bike ride in the amazing forests around the canyon and saw both deers and wolf (!). After sun had gove down we went up to the canyon again. The only light source was the thousands of stars and the whole world was covered under a dark blanket of drumming mystique. I thought that maybe the meaning of life is to experience things greater than you.

When the first sun rays reached over the treetops and the deers were wandering over the moor we began our journey back to Phoenix and the heat. Left is a tingeling desire to return deeper down into the mystique. An adventure that opened doors to new, just the way it is supposed to be.
