When your whole life is a long distance relationship:

One of my favorite Swedish bloggers writes today about moving abroad and leaving everything behind. How amazing it is to breath new air, see new horizons and feel free like a bird. But to have everything and everyone you love nine time zones away. Here is the link to the post, if you understand Swedish.
I teared up when I read it, I know exactly how it is. I miss the friends that know you better than you know yourself, family dinners with my family and to be there for you when you need it. For you to be there for me.
To log onto the computer and be the only one online because on your side of the world it is night and you feel like the loneliest person in the world.

Moving here is the best thing I have done, but sometimes the sacrifices just give you a big slap over your face and even if Skype is amazing it is not the same thing. It is not the same thing.
